The support group of PDP Presidential Candidate Atiku Abubakar Wazirin Adamawa Organisation of Warriors (WAOW) has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of not doing enough to establish the North East Development Commission over one year after he assented the law for the establishment of the commission to rehabilitate the region.
Patron of WAOW Alhaji Aminu A Ibrahim stated this at Command guest House conference hall Bauchi, when he delivered a lengthy speech at a town hall meeting with a theme “Jiki Magayi “ Era salvaging what remains for Nigeria” organized by WAOW to educate electorates on the need to vote for Atiku in the forth coming Presidential election.
He said the importance of establishing the commission towards rehabilitation, resettlement, reconciliation, reconstruction, and sustainable development of the zone in terms of infrastructure human and social services cannot be over emphasized.
Ibrahim said “continued delay to establish the commission will mean that the region is denied its rightful intervention strategy in the face of need”
The Patron who faulted the present administration socio economic and development policies said the administration has failed in its promise to improve the living standard of common man instead they bring untold hardship and starve the life of Nigerians and advice Buhari to retire from Politics considering his health status.
He asked all electorates to vote for Atiku who has a better solutions to the needs and wants of the region and Nigerians considering his over 40 years’ experience both in public service and in politics, his service to the country and great vision he has for the region and assured that Nigerians that Atiku will not fail them.
Ibrahim accused government of not fighting corruption to the people who are close ally to the president and described Atiku as the only presidential candidate that has verifiable track record of canvassing for the need to alter statusquo for Nigeria to achieve sustainable peace, unity and progress.
The coordinator of the Organisation Aminu AS Muaz said the Organisation was established out of the desire of youths for a well-deserved change which was informed by the economic and social situation that the common man found himself today in Nigeria.
He said today common man has little or no access to basic needs that included health care, food, shelter, good education, and believe that among all the presidential candidates Atiku is the best man with a Magic to proffer solutions to these problems.
