Attah of Igala and President, Kogi State Council of Chiefs, HRM Idakwo Michael Ameh Oboni has described Governor Muazu Babangida Aliyu of Niger state as a detribalized, patriotic and selfless Nigerian who is committed to promoting unity, harmony and peace among Nigerians.
The Attah of Igala who made the commendation yesterday while playing host to the Chief Press Secretary to Niger state governor, Mr Israel Ayegba Ebije in his palace in Idah, Kogi state, said he is grateful to governor Aliyu for honouring their son and by extension the entire Igala kingdom
Governor Aliyu’s had appointed an Igala man, Mr Israel Ayegba Ebije as his Chief Press Secretary as well as another Igala man, Abdullahi Yunusa as Special Assistant, Speechwriting, Research and Documentation.
“Governor Aliyu is indeed a true Nigerian who is committed to building bridges of unity, harmony and progress across the length and breadth of Nigeria” Attah noted
The Attah urged the two appointees to justify the confidence reposed in them and shun acts capable of bringing shame and dishonor to the Igala race as they discharge their duties effectively.
Responding, the Chief Press Secretary, Mr Ebije thanked the Attah for the warm reception and promised to convey his best wishes to his boss.
