AUPCTRE Ends 3 years Industrial Disputes with CAC

The Amalgamated Union of Public Corporations, Civil Technical and Recreational Services Employees (AUPCTRE) have resolved its three years industrial disputes with the management of Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

President of AUPCTRE, Comrade Benjamin Anthony, made this known to newsmen following a closed-door meeting with the CAC management led by its Registrar-General (RG), Mr. Hussaini Magaji which was held on Friday in Abuja

Anthony said the AUPCTRE delegation, which was led by the President have commended
the giant and pragmatic action of the new CAC management.

He explained that the union had a robust and frank discussion with the CAC boss and his team and were convinced that a new dawn in the commission has arrived.

“Within few months of assumption of office, the new RG has dispensed all protracted disciplinary cases, resolve unjust stagnation of promotion and has greatly improve service delivery just a few to mention

” This superlative performance and transformational agenda will eventually translate to economic development of Nigeria and improve workers welfare,” the union president stated.

He also noted that the union also praised the RG on his four cardinal agenda to transform the commission which includes staff welfare, capacity building, improve revenue generation and institutional development of the commission.

Anthony further said that AUPCTRE has resolved to partner and collaborate with the new management of the commission in the quest to deliver on President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for a better and progressive Nigeria.

Aluta News reports that AUPCTRE have had series of industrial disputes with the past CAC management.

It had accused the former CAC Registrar-General of “illegally dissolving the union executive and banning them from operating and transferring all executives to different parts of the country to weaken the union.”
