Bandits abduct village head, several women in Katsina
Bandits have reportedly abducted the village head of Kogari in Matazu Local Government Area of Katsina State on Tuesday.
Sources said that the village head, Bello Abdulkarim, was abducted alongside his daughter and several other residents, including three other women.
Residents said they had attack witnessed recurring incidents of banditry and abductions, and solicited for prayers for the safe return of those abducted.
There has been no immediate statement from security authorities on the incident.
