BCO to CUPP, Kwankwaso: Claims on Sanusi’s dethronement are figments

From Yusuf Mairiga Shekarau, Jos

The Buhari Campaign Organization (BCO) has castigated the Coalition for United Political Parties (CUPP) and the former Governor of Kano state, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso of putting the blame of the dethronement of the deposed Emir of Kano State, Muhammadu Sunusi II on President Muhammadu Buhari nothing that their accusations are baseless.
The BCO said the expression of both Kwankwaso and CUPP only solidify their positions amongst wailers of the President, describing their utterances as figments doctored to demean the image of President Buhari and the APC administration.
A statement signed by the national Coordinator of the BCO, Alhaji Danladi Pasali and made available to journalists Wednesday in Jos quoted the BCO as saying “Kwankwaso’s assertion alleging that Buhari ordered the dethronement of the emir is indeed, false; a similar statement issued by CUPP is however, unfounded and a noise seeking to create deterrence to a system that works clockwise to cater the need of Nigerians”.
The statement holds “for the sake of emphasis, Mr. President has maintained his neutrality by allowing every organ and tier of government to exercise its legitimate functions as established by law”.
The BCO said the action is a clear testimony of the fact that the opposition has staged conspiracy to tarnish the good repute of the president.
It has further urged them to sideline any attempt of politicizing matters that affect traditional institutions.
