The Etsu Nupe and Chairman Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers Alhaji Yahaya Abubkar has honored the current Chairman of Bida Local Government, Hon. Suleiman Sheshi with the ‘Traditional Tittle’ of Maina Nupe.
Presenting the honoring letter to the Chairman on behalf of the Emir, yesterday in his Bida residence, the Ciroma Nupe Alhaji Kudu Mohammed said that the letter was part of the recognition made by the Emirate Council in order to complement his contribution towards developmental projects as well as promoting peace and unity he made in the society.
He explained further that the tittle of Maina Nupe is a tittle that means trust and honest person, hard working person and person that will always bring peace, unity and development into the society.
“The emir delegate me to deliver this honoring letter to you as Maina Nupe and to thank you for the achievements you recorded so far in Bida, I do proud of you and I will continue to support your administration”, he added.
