Kaduna Governor Offers Condolences on Passing of El-Rufai’s Mother

Governor Uba Sani has extended his heartfelt condolences to former Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, and his family on the passing of his mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai.

In a statement, Governor Sani described Hajiya Umma El-Rufai as a woman of rare grace, moral clarity, and quiet strength, who lived a life marked by compassion, humility, and steadfast service.

“Hajiya Umma El-Rufai was not only a devoted mother and matriarch, but also a woman of rare grace, moral clarity, and quiet strength,” Governor Sani said.

He noted that she was a steady source of counsel and reconciliation in her community, nurturing unity and embodying the enduring values of faith, patience, and generosity.

Governor Sani prayed that Almighty Allah would forgive her shortcomings, accept her righteous deeds, and grant her eternal peace in Aljannatul Firdaus. He also asked for comfort and patience for the bereaved as they endure this profound loss.
