The District Head of Sabon Birni in Sokoto North Local Government Area of Sokoto State, Alhaji Malami Sheikh Maccido, is dead.
Although details surrounding his death were still sketchy as of the time of filing this report, several reliable sources confirmed the development.
Arrangements are reportedly underway for the conduct of his funeral prayers.
Our correspondent gathered that the deceased was one of the sons of the late Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Maccido.
