Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has launched an Ease of Doing Business Desk to facilitate the flow of foreign investments in the State.
He made this known as Keynote Speaker at the Kaduna State Investment Summit organized by the American Business Council in collaboration with the Kaduna State Government in Abuja in Thursday.
The summit which attracted investors and development agencies from Nigeria and abroad was organized to showcase the huge investment opportunities in Kaduna State and forge partnerships with business concerns and development agencies.
In her remarks, the Counselor for Economic Affairs, U.S. Embassy, Abuja, Christine Harbaugh described Kaduna State as a place of innovation and dynamism and that the attendance of US firms and investors at the event today shows their belief and interest in Kaduna State’s future. She said the U.S Mission in Nigeria strongly supports companies looking to invest in our dear state.
“Contributions at the well attended Investment Summit were frank, insightful and incisive. Presentations were made on the huge investment opportunities in Kaduna State, and the legal and institutional frameworks put in place to mitigate administrative bureaucracy in our various approval processes in land allocation, certification, and regulatory compliance.
“The Kaduna State Government has noted the observations and suggestions made at the Investment Summit. We shall continue to refine our processes and procedures, and strengthen them to serve our people, investors and development partners better. To complement the work of the Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA) in showcasing the various investment opportunities in Kaduna State and for effective communication with prospective investors and development partners, I have set up an EASE OF DOING BUSINESS DESK in the Governor’s Office. We shall install a HOTLINE through which investors and development partners can reach me directly” he said.
He calles on investors to avail themselves of the huge opportunities in Kaduna State. Kaduna State isn’t just a destination for your capital, it’s a springboard for your success.
