Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy West, has been granted bail after spending four days in police detention amid the ongoing marital crisis between the actress and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The development comes after days of tension surrounding the celebrity couple, whose relationship has recently been marred by accusations and counter-accusations.
Regina had earlier accused her husband of domestic abuse and other forms of mistreatment, while Nwoko fired back with his own allegations, claiming the actress’s family and friends were sabotaging her rehabilitation process.
In the heat of the clash, Nwoko reportedly ordered the arrest of Sammy West over alleged offences including criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, theft, and cyberbullying.
After spending four days in custody, fresh reports confirmed that Sammy has finally regained his freedom on bail.
His elder brother took to Instagram to share the news, expressing gratitude to everyone who stood by the family and spoke out in his defence during the ordeal.
