In a decisive move to end extreme poverty, Governor Uba Sani has unveiled the *Kaduna State Ultra-Poor Graduation Programme (KADUPG)* — a groundbreaking initiative designed to lift thousands of vulnerable citizens from poverty to prosperity.

Targeting individuals earning less than $3 a day, KADUPG prioritizes women, youth, and persons with disabilities, blending *cash support, skills training, microenterprise funding, financial inclusion,* and *mentorship* to drive self-reliance and dignity among beneficiaries.

Governor Sani described the programme as “a movement to transform lives, not just another intervention,” noting that it draws from the globally acclaimed *Graduation Approach* successfully implemented in Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Kenya, and the Philippines.
