Tinubu Engages APC Governors After Meeting Senate Leaders
President Bola Tinubu is currently holding a high-level meeting with governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the State House in Abuja.
The meeting, originally scheduled for 4pm at the Council Chamber, reportedly began around 5pm after it was moved to the President’s office conference room.
Governors in attendance include Babagana Zulum (Borno), Hope Uzodimma (Imo), Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), Hyacinth Alia (Benue), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), Peter Mbah (Enugu), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), Ahmed Aliyu (Sokoto), Umar Namadi (Jigawa), among others.
The engagement comes hours after the President held emergency session with leaders of the Nigerian Senate.
