From: Femi Oyelola, Kaduna

The chairman Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Kaduna state, Rev. Dr John Joseph Hayab has enjoined Christians in the state to remain calm and respect constituted authorities especially in trying moments like this.
Rev. Hayab stated this during a zoom meeting yesterday with members of the Association in the state.
He lamented that a 24 hours curfew imposed in some LGAs has been extended to all the 23 LGAs in the state as a result of the current attack on private and government properties including looting of ware houses.
The CAN chairman further assured his members that the Association will try by all means to reach the government in an attempt to short-circuit the curfew.
Meanwhile, he appealed to all ministers of God to close down their churches in accordance with the curfew’s demand as law abiding citizens
He promised to make a press statement later in the day to address the trending issue and to state the position of the CAN on the matter.
