CAN in Karmo, FCT sue for peace among Nigerians

The Coordinator of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Idu and Karmu chapter, Abuja, Rev John Garba has charged Nigerians on the need for peaceful coexistence.
He also called on the Federal Government not relent in its effort to maintain promote unity, peace and love among Nigerians.
He further urged the government to do everything within its powers to stem the various crises threatening the peaceful; coexistence in the country.
He made the appeal at Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA), Idu Gbagyi, during the conclusion of peace, love and unity prayer organised in the area.
The coordinator said that no religion would condone evils such as killing, kidnapping, among other evil acts being perpetuated by some individuals in the country, adding that both the Christian and Islamic faith preach peace and love.
Calling on Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of forgiveness, the cleric exonerated the religions and government from the evil acts and attributed to them by some Nigerians.
