The chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the 19 Northern states and Abuja, Rev. John Joseph Hayab, has opined that betrayal has caused a serious setback for so long in the affairs of Nigeria.
Speaking yesterday in Kaduna on the topic: “Overcoming betrayers at Easter”, Hayab believed, “Nigerians are betraying the country, people are betraying one another, which all culminated in the challenges the country is facing today.”
According to him, the security agencies cannot succeed in their official engagements in trying to curb the activities of bandits that are terrorizing different parts of the country because of betrayers that easily leak every effort being made by the security personnel to bring an end to the activities of bandits killing, rustling animals and destroying properties”
