Candido unveils 12-Man C’ttee for 2nd anniversary celebration

The Chairman, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Candido, has constituted a 12-member committee on two years anniversary celebration of the present administration in the Area Council.
Recall that the present administration which came on board in 2016 will be two years old in office next month, precisely May 20.
A statement issued by the Chairman’s Chief Press Secretary, Dayo Lawal disclosed that the committee is chaired by AMAC Supervisory Councillor for Education.
According to the statement, the committee’s terms of reference are as follows, to urgently identify the projects that will be commissioned during the two years anniversary celebration and to draw up a complete programme for the celebration.
It adds that the terms also included the preparation of expenditure for the entire anniversary and perform any other duty assigned by the Council.
Candido while addressing the committee members, charged them to expedite actions at identifying projects that will be 100 per cent completed for commission before the anniversary celebration next month.
The committee was equally urged to take into account the financial position of the Council while preparing the expenditure and handling of finances during the celebration.
