CBN cautions Nigerians to be wary of unlicensed financial entities

In an effort to addressing fraudulent financial activities of some dubious characters, the Management of Central Bank of Nigeria has warned the  public to stop patronising unlicensed entities in the country.

Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria,Mr.Godwin Emefiele sounded the warning in Yola, Thursday, at the 2022 Central Bank of Nigeria Fair with the theme ‘Promoting Financial stability and Economic development’.

He stressed that records at their disposal showed that many Nigerians are becoming victims of these ungodly scammers.

Represented at the two day sensitisation programme by the Director Cooperation Communications Department,CBN,Mr. Osita Nwanisobi,Emefiele said the programme is being conducted concurrently in Adamawa and Taraba states.
