It was a celebration galore as the Archbishop of Kaduna Province, Anglican Communion, Most Rev. Timothy Yahaya, marked a significant milestone yesterday, celebrating 25 years of being ordained as a priest and marriage to Mrs Esther Yahaya.
Speaking on his journey, Archbishop Yahaya stressed that “Leaders provide goods and services for their followers, bring solutions to problems, and make sacrifices for the people.
Highlighting the importance of humility, trust, and unity, Archbishop Yahaya urged leaders to prioritize their followers’ needs and foster strong relationships, noting that, leadership without sacrifice is not leadership.
The Archbishop, who also celebrated his enduring marriage, attributed its success to mutual love, trust, and collaboration, stressed that “A family divided against itself cannot stand.
Emphasizing, the crucial role of strong family units in building excellent societies, He tasked Nigerians to focus on nurturing their families and investing in education for future generations.
“Today I rejoice over what God has done in my life. I was ordained a Priest 25 years ago and married 25 years ago, and I’m here, celebrating what the Lord has done in our lives.
“What I have learnt as a leader in these 25 years is that leaders provide goods and services for their followers. Leaders don’t complain about problems but bring solutions to them.“
