Chelsea will hope that forward Timo Werner is back to action soon after the player was ruled out of Germany’s game against Turkey set for Wednesday.
According to the Germany national team assistant coach Marcus Sorg, the player had a slight cold and did not join the team on Monday but was expected to join the team in the next few days in their training base at Cologne.
“Timo Werner has a slight cold and won’t join up with the team today, (Tuesday)” Sorg told the media.
Germany is set to meet Turkey in a friendly before taking on Ukraine and Switzerland on October 10 and 13 in the UEFA Nations League.
