The City Boy Movement (CBM) has named Honorable Gambo Ibrahim Gujungu as the State Director for its Kaduna State Chapter, a move aimed at strengthening the organization’s structure and grassroots presence in the state.
The appointment was officially approved by the Director-General of the City Boy Movement, Oluwatosin Francis Shoga, and takes effect immediately.
According to the official letter of appointment dated April 30, 2026, Hon. Gujungu will serve as the overall leader of the Movement in Kaduna State for an initial period of twelve months.
Hon. Gujungu, currently the Senior Special Assistant to the Kaduna State Governor on Intergovernmental Matters, was selected after careful consideration of his extensive experience, leadership qualities, and dedication to public service.
His leadership of the state chapter will focus on aligning its activities with the national strategy and policy goals of the Movement, ensuring consistency at all levels.
“This appointment is a testament to the confidence reposed in Hon. Gujungu’s ability to effectively guide the vision and goals of the City Boy Movement in Kaduna State,” the statement read.
The Director-General expressed optimism that the new State Director will develop a strong, results-driven organization that produces tangible outcomes for members and the wider community.
“We anticipate a strong, results-focused structure that produces measurable results for our members and the broader community,” Shoga stated.
With his appointment, Hon. Gujungu is expected to lead efforts to mobilize support, deepen stakeholder engagement, and implement programs that reflect the core values and objectives of the City Boy Movement across Kaduna State.
