A non governmental organization known as Cleen foundation with support from MacArthur organised a two-day Citizens’ Engagement on Policing Reform and Accountability of Justice Sector Actors in Jigawa state.
The executive director cleen foundation Gad Peter, explained that, the foundation as a leading organization within the Justice Sector is particularly convinced about bringing stakeholders together to reflect on the importance of citizens’ engagement on policing reform.
According to him, administration of justice is the cornerstone of any society that upholds the rule of law, “and our collective efforts are pivotal in ensuring that it remains robust and effective.
“This workshop provides an invaluable platform for us to engage in critical discussions, share insights, and evaluate the current state of our legal framework on Citizens’ Engagement on Policing Reform and Accountability of Justice Sector Actors in Jigawa State.
