The General Overseer in charge of Salvation Mountain of God Church in Suleja Local Government Area of Niger State, Evang. Rev. Christopher C. Omosehin, has been conferred with a distinguished media merit award of “Spiritual Leader and a Great Disciplinarian” by the management of the Orator Communications Limited, publishers of the Orator Weekly Newspaper based in Niger State and FCT.
Conferring the award on the clergyman on Wednesday in Suleja, the Managing Editor of the Orator Weekly Newspaper, Mr. Nasir Oseni, said the award was bestowed on the cleric based on his positive contributions to humanity.
He also pointed out that the General Overseer of Salvation Mountain of God Church had been preaching true gospel of Jesus Christ to the Church members at all times.
Oseni, therefore, informed the gathering that the management of the Orator Weekly newspaper did not honour the people or personalities based on personal interest.
In an interview at the occasion, the Oba of Yoruba Community in Yimi/Mechida, Dr. Opeifa Tunji said the award bestowed on the General Overseer was a step in the right direction.
On his part, the awardee of the day, Omosehia thanked the authorities of the Orator Weekly newspaper for the honour, saying that award came to him without his knowledge.
