The Governor of Kano state, Eng. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, and a presidential aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), has assured that himself and other aspirants in the APC were still deliberating on whether to allow one person among them to get the ticket or to all go into the contest.

Kwankwaso, who spoke on the Hausa Service of the BBC, monitored in Jos said this yesterday in Kebbi state, when he visited the state to woo the support of the APC delegates in the state.

He said, “We are considering who to be allowed to champion the ticket of the presidential seat. We are still discussing; but if eventually we do not reach any agreement, we will all go for the primaries. “

Asked whether after the primaries they might have problem among themselves if one emerged, Kwankwaso replied, “We are very strong and that is why we belong to APC. I believe there will no problem, because we are matured enough not to allow any misunderstanding to rise among us. Whoever wins, there is no problem; we will all support the person that emerges”.

The BBC reported that Kwankwaso arrived Kebbi shortly after  the former vice president, Alh. Atiku Abubakar left the state on his mission to also seek for the support of party delegates in the state.
