The Council for the Regulation of Engineers (COREN), has revealed its preparedness for 33rd Assembly.

COREN President Engr. Sadiq Zubair Abubakar, Made the revelation while briefing journalists on Monday in Abuja.

 He said the program is theme;  “Advancing Quality Engineering Services and Businesses in Nigeria: Professionalism, Compliance and Remunerations”.

He said the theme will be discussed by the Keynote speaker, former vice president, Professor Oluyemi Oluleke Osinbajo, a distinguished Nigerian legal scholar, seasoned administrator, and accomplished public servant with an extensive career spanning academia, law, and governance.

He added that the speaker will be supported by 3 eminent personalities drawn from industry, government, academia, etc discussing the corresponding sub-themes.

 The third day of the Assembly “Engineering Family Forum” will be dedicated for the inauguration of the Task Force on Engineering Residency Programme (ERP) signalling the alignment of engineering education in Nigeria with the global benchmarks and standards.

“This is to be followed by a workshop on Building Consensus on Remuneration and Fees Structure for Engineering Services and Businesses in Nigeria to be led by one of the speakers Senator Iyiola Omisore, Engineering Professional Associations, ACEN, Academia from Universities, Polytechnics, Technical Colleges, Industrialists, members of MAN, FOCI, NSC, NUC, NBTE, ITF, etc will participate. Members of the press will be fully briefed on the outcome of the Engineering Family Forum.”
