The Chairman of Kwali Area council, Hon. Daniel Ibrahim has commended Senator Philip Aduda over his empowerment programme that runs through all the area councils of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

He said that since the inception of FCT, there is no senator that has done what Aduda has done within four years for his people.

He made this point during the distribution of cars and motorcycles, as part of Aduda’s empowerment programme for PDP stakeholders in all FCT councils and wards,on Wednesday, in Kwali.

“He has done well in the area of infrastructure, social amenities as well as effective representation in the Senate and empowerment programme for FCT residents, and we are overwhelmed by his performance,” the chairman stressed.

Similarly, the Commissioner representing FCT in the Civil service commission, Alh. Hassan Sokodobo, used the occasion to affirm the endorsement of Sen Aduda as well as President Goodluck Jonathan, for re-election, because of their uncommon transformation.

He called on people of the FCT to support and give them second chance in office, because of their performance.

“We have looked around collectively as a People in FCT, and discovered that there is no body that has ever met our aspirations like Sen. Aduda, since the return of democracy in 1999,and there is no ward in all the area councils that doesn’t enjoy Aduda projects.

” Aduda is a de-tribalised man I have ever seen, he does discriminate between christian and Muslims, as such he is the kind of person that our people should follow”. Alh Hassan said.

On his part,Aduda urged the FCT people to give God the thanks for using him to affect lives in the society.

He therefore, advised them to remain law abiding, perform their civil responsibilities, and support Jonathan’s second term bid.

However, the Senator promised to do more to all manner of people in FCT, irrespective of tribe or religion.

Peoples Daily reports that a total of six vehicles and 62 Motor cycles were distributed to six area council and 60 wards of the FCT respectively.
