In order to ensure efficient service delivery at the grassroots level, staff of the Kuje Area Council are advised to eschew truancy and absenteeism in the system.
The chairman of Kuje, Hon. Abdullahi Sabo, who made this point, stressed that the new Administration would ensure that staff must justify their pay.
Sabo said civil servants in the council must work to reciprocate their monthly entitlements, just as he assured them that he would not victimise those who did not support or vote for him in the last election.
The Chairman, who issued the warning while speaking to newsmen in his office, recently, maintained that he considered himself as a servant of the residents of Kuje.
The council boss also revealed that priority attention would be given to staff welfare and training and re-training of staff would be in focus with a view to enhancing their efficiency.
He therefore reiterated commitment to pilot the affairs of the council by showing good examples to the staff and residents, so as to ensure sustainable development in the council.
