Reigning African women champions, Super Falcons of Nigeria will face formidable opponents in the Cyprus Cup scheduled for next year.
The coach Thomas Dennerby-led ladies were drawn against Belgium, Austria and Slovakia in the Cyprus Cup which will commence from February 25 through March 7, 2019.
The Falcons will use the competition to prepare for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, where they are drawn against hosts France, Norway and Korea Republic.
Belgium are ranked 25th in the world by FIFA, Austria are 23rd, while Slovakia are 45th and six places behind nine-time African champions.
The Red Flames of Belgium will be the Falcons biggest threat after they finished fifth in the annual Cyprus Cup.
This will be their fourth participation in the international tournament while Super Falcons are making their debut.
