Minister of Youth and Sports Development Mr. Sunday Dare is adored and appreciated among his kingsmen for his philanthropic activities especially among the less privileged people in his hometown of Ogbomosho, in Oyo State.
In commemoration of the Christmas and New year celebration, Dare planted smiles on the faces of many as he showered them with blessings ranging from foodstuffs, cash and other gift items to celebrate the yuletide period
A large number of persons, who benefitted from the minister’s goodwill, thanked him for remembering his people and prayed that God almighty will continue to bless him.
The beneficiaries who were special guests at the abode of the Minister in Ogbomosho, spoke on his good deeds which they say has been the norm even before he became a Minister.
“He has been helping the needy” one beneficiary said. “it has become a way of life for him ever since he was a young man. As a Minister, I am not suprised that he is affecting the lives of people in this country because that is has become part of him”.
The youngman who said he is a student of Ladoke Akintola University of technology LAUTECH, Ogbomosho said he came with some of his colleagues just to be part of this day. He thanked the minister for what he is doing and assured that Nigerian youths are solidly behind him.
Mr Sunday Dare who is currently on vacation outside the country, instructed his Media Assistant Kola Daniel to supervise this year’s event which was witnessed by indigenes from far and near.
Those present, prayed that God almighty will continue to bless the honourable sports minister and also give him the grace to take Nigeria sports to the next level.
