Dekina/Bassa Rep, Hon Paul Gowon to Attend Aloko Oganenigu Agricultural Show

Member representing Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Honourable Paul Gowon (Aka IJN), has officially confirmed his attendance at the forthcoming Aloko Oganenigu Agricultural Show, scheduled to hold on 26th December 2025 at the Aloko Oganenigu Market Square.

In his remarks, Hon. Gowon described agriculture as “a vital pillar for community development, youth empowerment, and economic sustainability.” He emphasized the need for continuous investment in agriculture as a means of improving livelihoods and strengthening local economies.

The lawmaker made this confirmation during a courtesy visit by the Executive Members of the Aloko Oganenigu Township Development Forum to his office. The delegation was led by Hon. Umar Edibo, alongside the Chief Patron, Mr. Micheal Alfa, and the Chairman of the Forum, Hon. Aminu Faruna.

Hon. Gowon commended the Forum for its efforts in promoting community development initiatives and pledged his continued support toward agricultural advancement within the constituency. He further stated that the Aloko Oganenigu Agricultural Show presents an important opportunity to showcase local produce, encourage innovation, and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
