Hundreds of peo\ples Democratic Party ( PDP) Youths in Nsukwa/Ashama clan in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State on Monday protested alleged marginalization among others to Government House in Asaba.
The protesters had during their protest, alleged that they have been politically, and economically sidelined by successive administration since 1999, adding that they might be forced to abandon the party, PDP for APC if not attended to by the present administration that might not be insensitive like the past administrations.
The protest which lasted hours before getting to the Government House, distrupted government activities at the entrance to the State House, while major roads were barricaded with vehicular movements restricted until security agents moved into them restore and peaceful coexistence.
The protesters carried different placards with various inscpritions such as: “Nsukwa is long over due for appointments, Okowa end Nsukwa Political marginalization, Nsukwa is your maternal home”, among others, said PDP government had since 1999 ignored and denied them government appointments both at the State and local government levels.
