The district head of Mashio in Fune local government area of Yobe state, Alh Isa Mai Buba has been reportedly abducted by yet to be identified gun men.
According to the Police Public Relation Officer, Yobe state command, DSP Dungus, it was “at about 2205hrs on 15/8/2020 the gun men attacked the house of the district head with heavy fire Arms and disappeared with him to the tin air,”.
He started that “search parties were later on deployed but uptil now no positive response of his where about was discovered,”.
He however said the Police command had intensified efforts to rescue the district head and that meanwhile, investigation is also on- going to identify the hoodlums.
He promised that more information would be communicated on any development.
