Dr. Paul Enenche and his wife, Dr. Mrs. Becky Enenche, senior pastors of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, visited the Kuje Medium Security Correctional Prison on Thursday, delivering a message of hope and offering relief items to inmates.

Accompanied by a large legal team that included notable lawyers such as P.H. Ogbulu (SAN), Barrister Felix Tyokase, and Barrister Lydia Jim Ibu, the visit aimed to provide both spiritual and legal assistance to the inmates.

Speaking at the prison’s Chapel of Freedom, Dr. Paul Enenche delivered a sermon titled “The Forces of Freedom”, highlighting principles such as knowledge of God, the power of vision, and the importance of positive associations.

“Liberty happens when mentality is changed. Your impact after here can delete your setbacks, and if your prison doesn’t stop your praise, your praise will bring you out of your prison,” he told the inmates.

Dr. Mrs. Becky Enenche led prayers for the inmates, focusing on deliverance from addictions and ancestral curses.

A representative of the legal team announced plans to provide free legal services to eligible inmates to facilitate their release.

“We are here on behalf of Dr. Paul and Dr. Mrs. Becky Enenche to assist inmates through legal means and secure releases where possible,” the representative stated.

The prison’s Public Relations Officer, AS Duza, expressed gratitude on behalf of the facility.

“We appreciate this gesture of compassion and support,” he said, noting the clerics’ tour of the prison workshops, including tailoring, shoemaking, and soap production.

During the visit, Dr. Paul and Dr. Mrs. Becky Enenche distributed food, relief items, and other materials to the inmates. They were warmly welcomed by senior prison officers, including DCC Aminu Abubakar and CSC Oke Chibuzor.

This outreach underscores the church’s commitment to supporting rehabilitation and reintegration efforts for inmates in Nigeria.
