Empowering Abilities Through Inclusive Pages (EATIP) project successfully hosted an Inclusive Creativity Workshop at the FCT School for the Blind on Saturday, 15th November 2025, under the theme “Transforming Waste into Creative Opportunities.”

A total of 30 students participated in the hands-on sessions, where they learned practical creative skills including finger painting in various styles, pencil-vase making, flower vase and hand-fan creation using recycled materials. The workshop was designed to promote creativity, environmental awareness, and inclusive participation for learners with visual impairment.

“This workshop wasn’t just about creativity; it was about agency,” says Dr. Praise Akobo, Project Manager. “By teaching these students to see ‘waste’ as an ‘opportunity,’ we are equipping them with a mindset of innovation that they can carry into every aspect of their lives.”
