As part of efforts to escalate Nigeria’s economic development, the 2nd edition of the Zazzau National Education, Trade, Innovation and Investment Summit (ZANETIIS) 2025 is scheduled to take place from October 24 to November 2, 2025, in Zaria.
Mallam Yahaya Garba, Managing Director of ZAZCCIMA Investment Ltd, the organiser of the event, who disclosed this during a media interaction session held in Kaduna , it will be held at the prestigious Golf/Polo Field, Government Residential Area (GRA), Zaria.
According to him, the landmark event promises to attract key stakeholders, industrialists, investors, researchers, and government officials from across Nigeria and beyond.
He stressed that the summit’s theme, “Education, Skills Acquisition and Development: As Panacea for Economic Self-Sufficiency, Trade and Industrial Development In Nigeria,” highlights the critical role education and skills acquisition play in driving economic growth and development.
Mal. Garba added that the The event aims to bridge academia with skill acquisition, marry research with marketability, and foster impactful collaborations.
He said: “ Key objectives of the event he surmised are incubating new business ideas, synergy between innovations and investors to drive entrepreneurship and job creation, showcasing investment prospects highlighting opportunities in agriculture and allied sectors to attract investments, and examining fiscal policies.
“Analyzing policies to create a conducive business climate and promote economic growth, and harnessing educational assets leveraging Kaduna’s educational institutions to drive private investments in education”.
He also opined that ZANETIIS 2025 promises to be an exciting and informative event, featuring showcasing innovations from formal and informal sectors, hausa material culture, and farm produce on display top tertiary institutions like Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Zaria, and Kaduna State University are participating.
“Side attractions such as Investor-inventor matchmaking sessions to facilitate partnerships and collaborations, a Kano zoo visit exotic animals and birds on display, amusement park fun and learning for children, open library/book fair; promoting literacy and knowledge sharing, and a variety of local cuisine available, children’s competitions eating contests, and traditional regalia showcases.
“The summit is expected to catalyze sustainable development, socio-economic growth, and community empowerment in Zazzau Emirate, Kaduna State, and Nigeria at large”, he stated.
