NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim has appealed to all Stakeholders in the forthcoming Gubernatorial Election in Edo State to provide adequate security for the Corps Members that would participate in the election as electoral officers.
He said Corps Members are national assets that are contributing their quota towards national development which should be given public support.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja, signed by Adenike Adeyemi, director press and public relations, said Ibrahim stated this during a courtesy visit to the Oba of Benin Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’ Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Ewuare II Ogidigan in his palace.
The NYSC boss, who appreciated the monarch for his support for Corps Members in Benin Kingdom and NYSC Scheme in Edo State added that the NYSC Management places high priority on the welfare and security of its Corps Members.
