The Wife of the Kebbi State Governor Hajiya Aisha Atiku Bagudu has donated food items, clothes, mart, soap and creams to the affected victims across the Local Governments area of the State.
Presenting the items to the Mayhyama, Suru and Bagudo Local Government chairmen on Monday, the wife of the Governor who was represented by her Personal Assistant Hajiya Aisha Abubakar Bebe said that the gesture was part of her contribution towards elevating the suffering of the affected floods victims.
She explained further that the tragedy came at a time when the country was facing challenges of food security.
Hajiya Aisha who commiserate with the affected floods victims, appealed to philanthropist and well to do individuals to support the Government and rescue the victims by giving them relief materials.
