The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has solicited Media support even as the commission vowed to partner with media in order to move the country forward.
Speaking through the director of public affairs of the commission Mr. Osita Nwajah on Monday in Gombe commended Nigeria Journalists for contributing immensely for the development of the commission which according to him, the media had worked gallantly to maintained justice in the country.
He said the commission is overwhelmed for succeeding in the discharged of its duty which he said since the creation of the commission it has so far recorded over 800 convictions in courts.
The commission also pleaded with the National Assembly as a matter of urgency, to consider its demand and released some laws that would guide the conduct of the commission to enable them operate in atmosphere environment.
