Ember Months: RTEAN warns members against fare hike, hooliganism others

The Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria(RTEAN) has warn members across the country to desist from transport fare increase,reckless driving as well all act of hooliganism.
The Deputy National President, Administration, of RTEAN, Mohammed Bishara who gave the warning yesterday in an exclusive interview said all necessarily modality has been put in place to ensure that members behave themselves without a compromise before,during and after the yuletide season.
RTEAN according to him is the umbrella body of all commercial transport vehicles in the country
He however used the opportunity to commend his association’s current leadership led by Alhaji Muhammed Musa whom he described as a seasoned administrator.
Responding to questions on certain precautionary measure put in place by his union to forestall circumstances that could resurrect previous past, where frictions and internal crisis had raided members like wile fire said, ‘you cannot predict the future but all I can say now is that such dark days has come and gone forever’.
He also revealed steps taken so far by the current National Executive Council(NEC)of his union to ensuring that all the aggrieved members return to the union and are carried along in decision making irrespective of tribe, state, region,and religion carried along for the interest of peace.
