The Emir of Zazzau, His Riyal Highness, Amb Nuhu Ahmed Bamali has appreciated the efforts of the federal government in addressing security concerns but called for improved measures across Northwestern states.
He also commended the federal government for completing the Kaduna-Zaria and charged them to do the same along the Kaduna-Abuja highway.
The Emir made the commendation when the Vice Presidential candidate of the APC Senator Kashim Shettima paid him a courtesy visit in his palace in Zaria, Tuesday.
Sen Shettima said the Tinubu/Shetima presidency will place a premium on tackling all forms of insecurity in the Northwest if elected.
He acknowledged the success achieved in the counter insurgency fight across states in the Northeast and promised that same will be done in the Northwest.
