Prior to his appointment at FEMD, Engr. Dikko served as the Director of Projects at the FCTA Education Secretariat.
His public service career with the FCTA spans several key roles, beginning at the Area Council Service Board where he served across Gwagwalada, Kwali, Kuje, and Bwari area councils, as well as a stint with the Department of Development Control under AMMC.
An accomplished professional, Engr. Dikko holds a National Diploma in Building and Quantity Surveying from Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, a Higher National Diploma in Building Technology from Kaduna Polytechnic, a Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Management from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, and a Master of Engineering in Construction Management and Technology from Bayero University, Kano.

Speaking during a brief valedictory session organized in honor of the outgoing head, FEMD’s Head of Forecasting, Response, and Mitigation, Mr. Mark Nyam, praised Gambo as a consummate administrator who empowered staff to showcase their skills and prioritized personnel development.
He emphasized that disaster management remains a collective effort requiring strong leadership.
