In their quest to encourage the young ones to excel in their academic pursuit, the Enitonna High School Alumni Association has concluded arrangements to officially unveil the Strategic Development Masterplan for the institution.
The event which is scheduled to hold during a special Presidential Luncheon at the Enitonna High School Chapel, Borokiri, Port Harcourt, Rivers state is to be attended by former students of the school who are said to have promised to come from within and outside the country.
In a statement on Monday, National President, Enitonna High School Alumni Association, Sir Godfrey Ohuabunwa said the historic occasion marks a defining moment in the continued growth of one of Nigeria’s most respected educational institutions.
Ohuabunwa said Enitonna High School, which was established in 1932 remains the oldest secondary school in the old Rivers state, with a proud legacy of academic excellence, discipline, leadership, and service to humanity.
He added that the Strategic Development Masterplan is a bold and forward-looking blueprint designed to reposition the institution for the future, with key priorities in infrastructure renewal, academic advancement, digital transformation, student welfare, institutional sustainability, alumni engagement, and global competitiveness.
According to him, the initiative is a collective commitment by alumni and stakeholders to preserve the heritage of the school while preparing it for future generations.
“This is more than the unveiling of a development plan. It is a reaffirmation of our commitment to the rebirth, growth, and long-term advancement of our alma mater.
