The 105th Archbishop of Canterbury, His Grace Justin Portal Welby, gave the commendation during a courtesy visit to the Governor at Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, Kaduna, on Saturday.

His Grace said that period was marked by deep ethno-religious tensions and recurrent crises, adding that Kaduna State has been relatively peaceful under the administration of Governor Uba Sani.
The former Archbishop explained that this transformation informed his visit to the Governor to acknowledge his efforts and encourage him to sustain the path of reconciliation and cohesion.
In his response, Governor Uba Sani thanked the clergyman for the visit and highlighted the gains of the Kaduna Peace Model, which emphasizes good governance and inclusion.
The Governor, who said the Peace Model has delivered tangible results over the past two and a half years, noted that there has been no ethno-religious crisis in Kaduna State since he assumed office.
