A statesman and former Governor of Lagos State and father of oil magnate, Femi Otedola, Sir Michael Otedola is dead.
Sir Otedola was born into a Muslim family at Odoragunsin, Epe local government area of Lagos state.He was the Governor of the state between January 1992 to November 1993.
He died yesterday at aged 87 at his Epe residence in Lagos.
His family said Otedola died around 9 a.m. at his Odoragushin residence in Epe. It was also learnt that the former governor returned from overseas in January where he went for medical checkup.
