The Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Osita Chidoka has warned that anybody caught with a fake driver’s licence will go to jail.
Chidoka gave this warning yesterday in Abuja while answering questions from newsmen on the illegal activities of some officers who produce the licence without the normal procedure.
He said the corps will not handle the issue of false driver’s licence with kid gloves, adding that anybody caught will face the wrath of the law.
Speaking on the FRSC upcoming annual lecture, Chidoka said the event will focus on initiating African agenda to address the developmental challenges to safer roads within the continent in the 21st Century.
He added that the event which will feature Ghana’s President, John Mahama, as guest speaker, will also demonstrate the corps strategic goal in reducing road crashes by 15% and fatality by 25%.
