To ensure enhanced transparency in government, the Federal Character Commission (FCC) has a strategic partnership with Keep It Different (KID) Agency to design, brand, and deploy its new institutional digital platform.

The initiative is part of a comprehensive modernization drive aimed at improving public accountability, streamlining data tracking, and enforcing the Federal Character Principle across Nigeria’s public sector.

As the designated strategic consultants, KID Agency is leading the creative direction, institutional branding, digital development, and communications strategy for the project.

It was gathered that the upcoming FCC digital platform is designed to fundamentally restructure how the Commission interacts with the public and monitors government compliance.

Currently, tracking employment and infrastructural equity across Nigeria’s expansive public sector involves managing data from over 700 Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

The new digital infrastructure will replace slow, manual tracking methods with real-time monitoring and data-driven administrative processes.

According to project briefs, the system will focus on strengthening Monitoring Systems: Allowing for real-time compliance tracking across all MDAs,
providing a transparent, user-friendly interface for the Nigerian public to access institutional data, and optimizing eliminating bureaucratic bottlenecks between the FCC and other government entities.

Speaking on the operational shift, Precious Emehelu of KID Agency highlighted that the partnership is built to support the Federal Government’s overarching transition toward digitized public operations.

“Beyond technology, this initiative represents a strategic shift toward smarter governance systems and more efficient institutional operations.

“We believe the collaboration with the Federal Character Commission is both timely and critical in supporting the Federal Government’s broader digital transformation agenda and ongoing transition toward digital operational systems across public institutions,” Emehelu stated.

Christopher Odogwu, Head of Programs at KID Agency, noted that the modernized infrastructure is intended to build greater public trust through systematic openness.

“By upgrading its operational ecosystem, the FCC aims to ensure that its constitutional mandate of promoting national unity and equitable distribution of positions is fully supported by 21st-century technology.
