The FCT Directorate of Road Traffic Services (FCT-DRTS) says its engagement with Accident Prevention & Rescue Initiative (APRI) has been suspended forthwith, due to concerns over alleged nefarious acts.
DRTS explained that the suspension became necessary, following the alleged discovery of nefarious and unauthorized activities being carried out under the guise of APRI’s engagement with the FCT DRTS.
To this effect, the DRTS management in a disclaimer dated 4h December, 2025 cautioned that any individual, organisation, or corporate body that enters into any form of transaction, agreement, or collaboration with APRI, its principals), agents), or representatives) – particularly in relation to the implementation of the Special Trade License (STL) or any associated program – does so at his or her own risk.
It adds: “Neither the FCT DRTS nor any of its authorized officers shall be held responsible or liable for any commitments, representations, or obligations undertaken by APRI or its agents during the period of suspension.
For further clarification or verification, all enquiries should be directed to: Info@drts.gov.ng or drts.gov.ng; Head, Business Development, FCT DRTS Headquarters, Mabushi; or Contact DRTS Call Centre on 02093606046, 08131050515, 08123473503”.
