2026 FCT Area Councils’ Election: Dobi urges unity, loyalty among APC stakeholders

A former member of House of Representatives in the National Assembly, who represented Abuja South Constituency, Hon. Zakari Angulu Dobi, has called on APC faithful to work for the unity of the party in 2026 FCT Area Council election.
Dobi spoke in the wake of the defection of the former Gwagwalada PDP Chairmanship aspirant, Hon. Adamu Mohammed Saba to APC alongside other persons in the area.
Addressing crowd during the Gwagwalada APC central zone meeting held at the former NEPA field, he expressed optimism that the APC would remain untouchable in Gwagwalada and its environs.
He however, pleaded with the leadership of APC to deem it necessary to effectively manage themselves and to love each other for the sake of the 2026 Area Council election in the area.
He, therefore, expressed joy over the caliber of people who recently decamped to APC in Gwagwalada.
Speaking earlier, the Chairman of the APC in the FCT, Alhaji Abdulmalik Usman,, urged decampees to work together with others they met for the good of the the party at all times.
On his part, the Executive Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council, Hon.
Abubakar Jubrin Giri, promised to deliver the APC in 2026 election in the area.
Not left out, the Chairman candidate of APC in Gwagwalada, Hon. Usman Yahaya, thanked the people, who turned up for the meeting in Gwagwalada Central zone.
Responding on behalf of the decampees, the former Chairmanship aspirant of PDP, Hon. Saba, pledged to join hands with others to work for the party, so as to enable the APC to emerge victorious in the forthcoming 2026 election in the area.
