The Executive Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon. Abubakar Jibrin Giri, has inaugurated the elected councilors, while calling for peaceful co-existence among the residents in the area.
Giri made this known in an interview with newsmen during the inauguration of the councilors on Tuesday in Gwagwalada.
He said he would maintain a good relationship with the councillors of the PDP and APC for the overall development of the Area Council.
He said his administration would focus on the infrastructural development of the Area Council, pointing out that he would give the necessary attention to security situation of the Council.
While addressing the crowd during the handover ceremony, the Chairman promised to relate with every department of the Area Council, saying that government is a continuous process.
