The Vice Chairman-elect of Gwagwalada Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon Saidu Abdullahi Zuba, has called on the entire residents of Gwagwalada and its environs to continue to live in peace with one another irrespective of their political offences.
He said no community could develop in the atmosphere of rancor and acrimony and charged the losers of the election to embrace peace at all times.
Abdullahi Zuba, who made the call in an interview with Peoples Daily correspondent in his residence in Zuba, also hailed the residents for their peaceful conduct during the election.
He then congratulated the leadership of APC for winning the chairmanship election of the Area Council and charged those who lost the election to join the APC in order to move the entire Gwagwalada and its communities to the next level.
He applauded the independent national electoral commission (INEC) for exhibiting maturity in handling the issues during the election.
Gwagwalada Vice chairman-elect, however, said the administration of APC would focus on the developmental projects, pointing out that the past government of the Area Council under the leadership of Honorable Abubakar Jibrin Giri had executed many projects in Gwagwalada and its environs.
