FCT: Health workers honour Gwagwalada Council Chairman, Loko, Wakili

The leadership of Gwagwalada Indigenous Health Workers Association (GIHWA) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Friday bestowed merit awards on the Executive Chairman of Gwagwalada Area council, Hon Adamu Mustapha Danze, the Director in the charge of Administration in the Area Council Mr Musa Muhammad Loko as well as the Divisional Head in charge of Logistics/Due Process, Mr Danjuma Wakili.

Other awardees are; Head of Department in charge of Health in the council, Dr Adeyemi, Head of personnel, Mr. Lawal K. Maroof, Divisional Head in charge of the Establishment, Mr Gad Andrew Ali and Information Officer, Mr Suleiman Ismaila.

Conferring awards on the awardees, the Chairman of GIHWA, Mr Adams J. said the seven personalities were honoured today based on their outstanding contributions.

Adams said the association would continue to recognize those who had excelled tremendously in our societies.

Responding on behalf of the recipients, the Executive Chairman of the Area Council, Hon. Adamu Mustapha Danze thanked the organizers for the honour done to them.

Danze said he would continue to take the youths along in scheme of things in the Area Council.

In his speech, the Divisional Head in charge of Logistics/Due Process in Gwagwalada Area Council, Mr Danjuma Wakili, expressed joy for the award being bestowed on him by the leadership of GIHWA

According to him, today being Friday 21st January, 2022 marked the historical event which can never be forgotten in our lives and hereafter giving honour to whom is due.

He urged organizers of the awards to be law-abiding citizens at all times while calling on them to be loyal, honest and dedicated to duties as it is in line with the Public Service Rules (PSR) and Ethics Code of Conduct of Community Health Practitioners.
